Center for Smart Devices and Sustainable Energy, Ming Chi University of Technology, is looking for several project assistants and postdoctoral research fellows.

Date of Announcement: Now until 31 December, 2023

1. Quota: Number of candidates (3 project/master's assistants and 3 postdoctoral research fellows)
2. Date of appointment: On-call review
3. Qualifications:

1. A degree in an engineering-related field recognized by the Ministry of Education or abroad
2. Area of expertise: (must meet the following criteria)

• A bachelor or master's or doctoral degree from home or abroad, and foreigners are eligible.
• Practical experience in setting up optical and electrical instruments.
• Good writing skills (Applicants should have good English writing skills, e.g. to revise the preliminary drafts of theses for graduate students of Master’s and doctoral programs).
• Ability to carry out research in the most efficient manner with a team and publish in international journals.
• Good presentation skills: initial term of 3 months and renewal (indefinite) depending on the performance.
• Payment of salary according to Taiwan laws.
• Assist the center with international collaboration projects, discernment seminars, and domestic and international contacts.

   3. Photocopy of Degree Certificate (A photocopy of the certificate from the representative institution must be attached to the overseas qualification.)
   4. Other documents to assist in the review (e.g. implementation of MOST (Ministry of Science and Technology) projects, publication of papers, awards or patents in the field of expertise, etc.)
   5. If you pass the preliminary trial, you will be notified to our school for an interview.
